Summit Faculty

Ms. Amos teaches middle and upper school Latin and drama. She obtained a teaching certificate and Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education from Central Washington University. She served as a children’s ministry leader for 15 years and has spent the last two summers teaching at a Classical Christian school in Hawaii. Ms. Amos first came to love classical education when she and her children started their Summit adventure 9 years ago. Her son and youngest daughter are upper school students at SCCS, her eldest daughter is a sophomore at WSU and was in the first graduating SCCS class. Ms. Amos is passionate about Classical Education and strives to inspire awe and wonder about God’s amazing creation through Latin and drama. She enjoys guiding students through the many transitions during their teen years helping to arm them with tools to pursue their passions. This is Ms. Amos’ 11th year on the Summit Staff.
