Mrs. Cairns teaches middle school humanities. She graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor’s in English Secondary Education. She has taught middle and high school English at Sammamish High School and Bellevue Christian before staying home to raise her kids. She learned about classical education while homeschooling her kids when they were younger and fell in love with it. This is Mrs. Cairn’s ninth year on staff at Summit.
