Summit is Nationally Ranked on the CLT and CLT10!

January 22, 2025

Summit Classical Christian School has been named in the top 10 in the Classic Learning Test and top 5 in the CLT10’s 2025 CLT School Rankings. This award recognizes the Summit student body for collectively receiving one of the highest average CLT scores out of schools across the United States during the 2023-2024 academic year. We’re so proud of our students who ranked 9th (CLT) and 3rd (CLT10) in the nation!

The CLT is a college entrance exam and alternative to the SAT® and ACT® designed for 11th and 12th graders and offered by the Classic Learning Test (CLT). Evaluating reading, grammar, writing, and mathematics, the CLT provides a comprehensive measure of achievement and aptitude and engages students with thoughtful reading material drawn from classic literature and historical texts. It is accepted as an admissions exam at over 250 colleges and universities across the U.S. and abroad.

The CLT10 is a college preparatory exam and PSAT® alternative offered by Classic Learning Test and designed for 9th and 10th graders. Evaluating reading, grammar, and mathematical skills, the CLT10 engages students with thoughtful content drawn from classic literature and historical texts and provides a comprehensive measure of achievement and aptitude.

Since its inception in 2016, Classic Learning Test has offered assessments steeped in more intellectually rich and rigorous content than other standardized tests. CLT’s suite of assessments now serves grades 3-12.

Out of the hundreds of schools that take the CLT and CLT10 every year, Summit’s ranking is a remarkable achievement.
