Introducing Heidi Devereaux

As I have mentioned before, one of the great privileges I have as Headmaster at Summit is to work with an awesome faculty. This group of gifted and talented people continues to raise the bar for teachers, and I am happy to introduce Heidi Devereaux as the newest member of the faculty at Summit Classical Christian School. Heidi will teach fourth grade.

Heidi received her B.S. Ed. degree in Elementary Education from University of Idaho, and has her teacher’s certificate in the State of Washington (K-8 Elementary Education, 4-12 in Biology and 4-12 in Science). Heidi has also coached volleyball and track and field. In addition to teaching physical education, Heidi has extensive substitute teaching experience, including two long-term assignments. In the past Heidi served as Second and Third Grade Lead Teacher in the Sunday School at Evergreen Christian Fellowship. Heidi loves her three children and—did I mention—she also loves horses.

Please take the opportunity to welcome Heidi as you see her on campus, and don’t forget to lift Heidi and the rest of the Summit faculty up in prayer as they teach our children.

God bless you all,

Dr. Timothy Orton
